Project Description

MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO THE THRIVING MULTICULTURAL ARTS SECTOR IN QUEENSLAND

Brisbane Multicultural Arts Centre (BEMAC) is seeking to recruit professional and experienced Panel Members who will provide strategic guidance, expert advice, and recommendations to the Centre’s management team regarding the development, implementation, and evaluation of programming initiatives.

BEMAC’s mission is to celebrate and elevate cultural diversity through the arts. They innovate and commit to partnerships and excellence, inspire and develop new and emerging talent, embrace the diversity of the global industry, and welcome collaboration opportunities.

The panel will require skills and expertise in strategic planning, leadership, knowledge of governance and panel processes, philanthropic experience, understanding of cultural policy, knowledge of the arts and culture sector, and business acumen. While individual applicants will not necessarily possess all these attributes, priority will be given to applicants who are considered able to make the broadest contribution to the Panel’s work. Panel members serve in a voluntary capacity.
