WEBINAR: THE BOARD'S ROLE IN FUNDRAISING

This is the second webinar marking the launch of the 4th Edition of The Book of the Board – don’t miss this opportunity to learn from leading voices in governance and fundraising practice.
Join governance specialist David Fishel in conversation with fundraising experts Nigel Harris and Frankie Airey for a practical and thought-provoking discussion exploring the Board’s critical role in fundraising success.
Overview
This one-hour session will examine how boards can best support fundraising, the boundaries between board and management roles, and the pitfalls when engagement is poorly managed.
Non-profit organisations are operating in an increasingly competitive funding environment, raising the key governance question: should the board be involved in fundraising, or is it a professional function best left to staff?
For many organisations, the answer is not straightforward. Boards must balance oversight with hands-on support, maintain appropriate boundaries, and help build a culture of philanthropy without breaching governance lines. Equally, without active board support, fundraising capacity is constrained. How to navigate this?
This webinar is designed for board members, CEOs and fundraising leaders seeking clarity, confidence and best-practice guidance on governance and fundraising.
